Dr. Kathryn E. Cochran

Dr. Cochran graduated from The University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1996. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery with Michigan Veterinary Specialists in 1997. Following her internship, she moved to Georgia where she practiced in both emergency and general practices. In 2000 she moved to Michigan and became Dr. Morrison’s first associate. Dr. Cochran has continued her education by completing courses in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation and Ultrasound. She has a strong interest in cardiology, internal medicine and clinical pathology. Kayaking, long-distance running and reading are activities Dr. Cochran enjoys outside of work. You can catch her on her free weekends camping with her husband, Bill, twin daughters, Maycee and Bridgette, and dogs Aspen and Ekko. Perry “the wonder cat” rules the roost at home while they are away. “Watching the relationship animals have with their owners and seeing how very important they are in our lives” is what Dr. Cochran enjoys most about working with animals.
